Frequently Asked Questions

How does your car transport service work?

After you place a vehicle shipping order with us, and deposit is received, we then dispatch the vehicle to one our network of qualified, insured car transporters. We will then contact you with a pickup time. The driver will inspect the vehicle and fill out his vehicle condition report for both of you to sign. The driver will give you a good estimate of when the car will arrive at the delivery destination. Upon delivery, the balance will be due, and you will do another inspection. After signing the inspection report at delivery, you will receive a copy as a receipt.

If I have to cancel, is my deposit refundable?

Your deposit is fully refundable up to the point that your vehicle has been dispatched, and the driver is en route to pick it up.

How far in advance do I need to place my car transport order?

The farther in advance you place your car transport order, the better the chance of picking up and delivering your vehicle within your requested time window. All times are estimates only due to the fact that drivers encounter traffic, DOT hourly driving regulations, inclement weather, etc.

How long will you have my vehicle?

This depends on how far the vehicle is being being transported. The average transport time for cross country delivery is approx. 6 to 9 days. A good rule of thumb would be approx. 3 days for every 1,000 miles vehicle is being transported. In many cases the average transport time is much less.

Is my vehicle insured?

Each vehicle being transported is insured up to $50,000 against any type of damage due to driver neglect or accident. Each carrier is required by law to have a minimum of $750,000 liability insurance.

Do I need to be present for pickup and delivery?

If you are not available for pickup or delivery, you may designate someone for contact, and to sign the inspection report in your absence.

Will my car be driven?

It is necessary for the carrier to drive the vehicle for loading and unloading purposes only. The vehicle may be unloaded and reloaded during the trip depending on the location of the vehicle on the trailer.

What should I do to prepare this vehicle for transport?

The vehicle should be recently washed in order to do a thorough inspection of the vehicle. Any non-factory luggage racks or ground effects should be removed prior to transportation of your auto.

Can I pack personal belongings in the vehicle?

When shipping an auto, personal belongings are not allowed to be packed due to DOT regulations. Only items that the vehicles normally come with are allowed such as spare tire and jack.
